Event Day Checklist:

  • Photo ID for both rounds

  • Two #2 pencils (non-mechanical) with erasers

  • First Aid Kit/Bag containing:

  • Cravats (2); Bandaging materials (sterile gauze, roller bandages, trauma dressing, non-stick dressing)

  • Mouth-to-mask & Bag-Mask devices (adult & infant)

  • Biohazard bag; Hand sanitizer; Cell phone (simulated 911 calls)

  • Bandage scissors; Adhesive tape (2)

  • PPE: 8 pairs of non-latex gloves; 2 sets of goggles or safety glasses

  • Tourniquet – provided by HOSA or competitor’s own

  • Professional business attire or HOSA uniform (Round 1)

  • Attire appropriate for emergency response (Round 2)

  • Know the General Rules & Regulations
